Chris Meehan founded Sentric Music while he was at university in 2006, developing the powerful technology at the core of the indie publisher's operations as part of his final year work placement. Today, that software drives an administration system which handles more than 500,000 copyrights across the world.
In the 10 years since its foundation, Meehan has built Sentric into an award-winning publisher that looks after more than 85,000 songwriters and licenses music directly in over 100 countries. The company employs more than 30 people across its Liverpool headquarters and offices in London, Amsterdam, Hamburg and New York.
Meehan has personally stuck deals with a range of leading music companies all over the globe and currently sits on the boards of a number of influential advisory groups in the music publishing world.
He has appeared in Music Week's 30 Under 30 and Music Business Worldwide's Young Executive list for 2015.
