Jah Wobble was a founder member of Public Image Limited alongside former Sex Pistol John Lydon, and remains the most influential bass player of his generation. Through his close friendship with Lydon and Sid Vicious, he was an eye-witness to punk; and nicknamed Jah Wobble by Sid. His distinctive ‘low end’ hypnotic bass lines on the first two PIL albums - including the mighty 'Metal Box' - helped define the revolutionary sonics of the post punk era. After leaving  PIL, he has collaborated with dozens of artists, including Sinead O'Connor, Bjork, Primal Scream, and Francois Kevorkian, and his solo albums have reflected his restless, creative, global adventures in jazz, reggae, and dub.
