Sammy Andrews is an award winning music industry digital expert, an artist manager, music industry advisor and CEO at Deviate Digital.
She has been at the forefront of the digital landscape ever since joining the recordings division of 19 Entertainment in 2005 as Head Of Digital, where she worked on digital projects for the company’s clients in music and beyond. She led her own digital consultancy firm since 2008, Sabotage New Media, working for labels, festivals and artists like Annie Lennox and Robyn. From 2013 to 2015 she headed up Cooking Vinyl Group’s digital department looking after campaigns for artists including Billy Bragg, The Prodigy, Marilyn Manson and Royksopp and is director at Music Industry data and analytics firm Entertainment Intelligence.
A frequent commentator on trends in digital marketing and the digital music market, and an advocate for more artist-friendly practices in the digital domain, Andrews regularly speaks at industry events, and recently launched the Let’s Be The Change campaign to encourage more women working in music to do the same.
